FAQ
On a Classic or Flex student exchange program, you will live with a host family full time. On a Boarding School program, you will live on school campus from Monday to Friday, sharing a boarding house with other students (either local or international, or a mix of both) and only staying with a host family on weekends and school holidays.
In addition, on a Boarding School program, you will be able to choose which boarding school you wish to attend, and thus which city your will be placed in.
Boarding schools are private, residential schools offering a highly structured environment, with onsite accommodation and meals. The higher fee not only includes high-quality instruction and tuition fees, but also extra-curricular activities, adequate supervision and excellent facilities.
Inside a boarding school, students are adequately supervised and have access to comprehensive assistance from school staff. In addition to a dedicated coordinator for international students, school personell is onsite 24/7 to provide support and guarantee the safety and wellbeing of all students.
In addition, there will be classroom teachers, tutors, house parents and other staff dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day life as well as of extra-curricular activities. In short, students can count on a wide range of support persons who can help with academic matters, personal or practical issues; they will live in a safe, controlled environment that offers warmth and encouragement, designed to foster autonomy and personal growth.
