Named a ”California Distinguished School” by the California Department of Education in 2009, El Camino Real Charter High School is known for its excellent academics and wide array of course offerings.

With strong athletic, cinema, theatre and music programmes - which often gain important awards and recognition at a state level - El Camino offers over 100 clubs, 20 Advanced Placement and several other Honors classeses; it also allows its students to join outstanding academies, such as Art & Design, Careers in Entertainment, STEM, and Visual & Performing Arts.

The school prides itself on their policy of open communication, cooperation and active participation from students, all aspects contributing to helping pupils excel in various domains.

Last but not least, El Camino is located in a privileged position in the heart of Woodland Hills, an upscale neighborhood of Los Angeles, less than an hour from famous places like Malibu and Santa Monica.
